Missing Course Toolbar

The toolbar (or course menu) on the left side will automatically disappear based on screen size or resolution. If you have a more square screen or the resolution makes it more square then wide this can happen. Blackboard does this to make more room for the main area of the page.
1.Move your mouse to the left side of the screen, a blue or gray vertical bar should appear. click on that and the menu should expand.
2.Change the zoom of the browser: You can usually hold the CTRL key and use the plus (+) or minus (-) key to adjust zoom, Make the text smaller by using the minus key and refresh the page. At a certain size it will stay on the screen (usually 90%-100%)
3.If you can change your screen resolution and you have a wide screen, you can try changing your resolution and refreshing the page and see if that helps.
